Description

The thing that struck me most during totality was that no photo I've ever seen captured the full majesty of the corona. It was as though I was seeing our star properly for the first time!

For this image, I blended 13 exposures together in an attempt to present more of the corona than any single photo could capture. I used Lightroom to stretch clarity and shadows on each exposure first, and then used a "mean stack" in Photoshop to integrate them.

Anyone else already counting down to 2024??! Personally, I'm trying to talk my wife and friends into a 2019 trip to South America!
