Description

Dark Nebula, LDN 889 in the constellation Cygnus. The bright star in the top right is Sadr, which translated from Arabic to English means "Released". The star is only 750 light years away and the dark nebula is 2,000 to 5,000 light years away (src: https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap091027.html). Acquired at the 2017 Oregon Star Party in Ochoho National Forest in Oregon, USA.
