Sorry to bother again, these images are part of my last session including the monochrome shots only, taken with a 2x barlow placed before the filter wheel resulting in an about 3x barlow.

Changing subjects,

As seen on TV, an unsettled Lady commented that the color of her face mask does not suit the color of her skirt. These are the people who are suffering most under Covid-19. In spite of having human rights they are left alone with their life-critical concerns. It is such a shame. 😥

News just in: TOKYO, a 103 years young Lady, obviously a no-risk patient, was admitted to a hospital only 9 days after reporting Corona symptoms as the government promises to hold the Olympic Games in full safety after achieving crowd immunity (75%) without having secured vaccine, centers and personnel (nothing to vandalize here). Many affected people want to go to a hospital but are forced to stay home-alone and wait, either for a miracle or death. Oh boy, that's Japanese hi-tech culture.

More importantly, the tourism industry is only too happy learning that the government considers a re-start of its "GoTo" (not a scope mount) travel campaign which generated the ridiculously small 2nd and 3rd infection waves countrywide during which merely about 4500 people died. There is no other country that is paying its distracted people with discounts for spreading a virus. Money is no problem, Japan is the country of "Abenomics". Media people don't need costly masks, they have got their muzzles on 😷.

Okinawa is currently under highest alert level (Red Alert in starship Enterprise jargon). The prefecture however forgot to close the airport (we have only one, but two runways!!!) and people don't know the meaning of "STAY HOME". In other words, we are having normality.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
