Description

The 2016 South Pacific Star Party was pretty good but my Lodestar Autoguider died so it was time for 200 point models and see what I could get unguided. This is a tight crop from one my favourite objects. The hear-wrenching struggle of Herbig-Haro objects (little NGC 6729) to be be born in the UV blast of the two hot blue variables in NGC 6726/27. This is an amazing piece of sky with the oldest globular in our Galaxy NGC 6723 (13.06 billion years old) out of field top left and the dramatic Void of nothingness bottom right.
