Description

After seeing how bright the sky was while imaging nearby Saturn, I decided to image the source of the light, the nearly full Moon, for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch.

Notes:

[li]The Moon's slow wobble has put features on the eastern limb in a good position to see. From north to south, Mare Marginis, Mare Smythii, and Mare Australe are visible near the limb.[/li]
