Description

My Milky Way Best Shot – I took 20 more images last night (9/9/17), then combined them with the 20 images taken on Thursday night (9/7/17), then using DSS, I registered and stacked all 40 images, subtracted the noise from the camera, finally I used Canon DPP to finish up my last Milky Way for 2017. By the time I have clear skies again the Earth will have traveled further around the Sun and the Milky Way core will be on the other side of the globe. Settings were the same both nights except the aperture setting. Shutter speed, 20 seconds, ISO 1600, focal length 18 mm, f/4.5 on 9/7/17 and f/3.5 on 9/9/17. I also shot the last 20 images 15 minutes earlier in the night. I hope you enjoy this, my latest Milky Way.
