Description

I decided before I went outside that I was going to image M103. I've never imaged this object
and I needed it for the Messier collection I've been working on. A lot of these open clusters
are not as flashy or spectacular as some of the other Deep Sky objects that are imaged.
But with that said I think the open clusters have a simplistic beauty that is appealing. It's not
difficult to get an image of an open star cluster because they are only stars. However in my
opinion it is challenging to try and get a pretty image of an open star cluster. Please enjoy my
first image of M103.
