Description

What I don't like - the brighter stars are terrible. That is because my scope was out of collimation, and I unwittingly captured my red data on the opposite side of the meridian from the other data. As a result, the stars appear red on one side and white on the other. It's time to collimate my scope. Hopefully, my other unprocessed images won't suffer as badly.

What I do like - I can see in the neighborhood of one or two dozenf galaxies in the background. IC1296 is the obvious one, but I can also see 7 catalogued PGC galaxies as well as at least that many uncatalogued galaxies.

I find M57 a challenging object to process. It looks better with less stretching, but I erred on the side of more stretching in order to bring out the background galaxies.
