Description

This is my second attempt on this great galaxy. Due the 800mm FL the FoV is a bigger, so all those surrounding small galaxies in the field are visible too.

Also it's the first light for my first newtonian telescope.

I've created a 2x drizzle Lum out of all the RGB data , processed it and scaled to 70%.

This time the drizzling was possible with Gauss and Variablesize kernels, without seeing drizzle artifacts.

The white balance was done by the photometric script from PI. A really great tool.

After a second NGC7331 attempt, my personal feeling tells me, the blue component of this galaxy is not as strong as in other spirals. In regard of color and size, NGC7331 seems to match the Andromeda galaxy.
