Description

NGC1501 - Another little gem in Camelopardalis. This is a small PN with interesting "brain" like structure. Just like NGC1514, this is very bright both in Ha and OIII wavelength. The structure is pretty similar in both channel as well (unlike the interesting OIII Shell etc). It is also super bright which required masking the core just to get the background up to a reasonable level.

Shot right before a rain front (and it looks like we are shot down for couple of weeks with clouds).

ASI1600 was set at unity gain.

Ha - 35x5 minutes

OIII - 34x5 minutes
