Description

* Image Acquisition by The Liverpool Telescope.

* Processing: Ruben Barbosa.

* Distance: 3 Mly.

O Nova é a estrela central desses três.

The Triangulum Galaxy (Messier 33, NGC 59 is a spiral located about 3 million light-years in the direction of the Triangulum constellation and is between 40 and 60 thousand light-years in diameter.

In the image we can contemplate its arms exhibiting great HII regions, as well as blue stellar clouds composed essentially by young stars.

The M33N 2015-12a, a Nova that can be seen if we start from the left of the image, halfway, we will find 3 stars lined up at about 45 degrees to the right. The Nova is the central star of these three.
