Description

IC 63 & IC 59- The Ghost of Cassiopeia

About 600 light years from us, the constellation Cassiopeia points the way to our nearest galactic neighbor, Andromeda. IC 59 (left) and IC 63 (right) reflect the blue glow of the brightest star in Cassiopeia, the unstable Gamma Cas directly above the nebula shines at a +2.15 magitude.
