Description

This is the third photo that I have taken of galaxy NGC1365, the first having been taken in 2010, long before the supernova appeared. I will prepare a single composite of all three soon but the supernova is obviously decaying in brightness. SN2012fr is the bright object directly above the central nucleus of the galaxy. The object directly above the SN and below the spiral arm is a foreground star.
