Description

This is the photo that made me decide to get into astrophotography. It was taken using eyepiece projection with a SLR camera and Kodacolor Gold 400 film. I hand held a Canon A1 to align the lens with the eyepiece of a friend's 10" Teleport Dobsonian telescope. After processing at the photo lab, the 4"x6" print was digitized with a flat bed scanner. I was so pleased with the result that I decided to get my own telescope, and convert from film to digital cameras.
