Description

In the constellation of Scorpius, the star Antares (Al Niyat) is surrounded by a reflection nebula of ionised hydrogen alpha which has been called Sh2-9 in the Sharpless catalog, but also Gum 65.

The region responds quite well to the Ha filter but hides the area around the star somewhat, if there is not enough exposure time. Regarding my image, I think it lacks a little exposure time.
