Description

Second target yesterday. Great to see what details this camera can produce even with these short exposures

Quote from Eric Solis (which I find a great description of this target):

The Crab Nebula is a very exciting but odd-looking object. I find it fascinating that something so beautiful (and strange) had an incredibly violent birth: the nebula we see today is the remnant of a super nova whose explosion in the year 1054AD was so violent that it suddenly appeared as the brightest object in the sky, so bright it was visible during the day.

Description: Complete rework. I was frustrated at the loss of details in my processing so I tried a different approach

C

Description: Decided to work a bit on a closeup. Had some blown out pixel and decided to do it a bit more artistic and use the smudge tool :D Still not very happy with the color, it looks a bit to "candy style"

D

Description: desaturated a bit to get rid of the candy look. still the red is a bit to magenta but with selective colors I get nasty pixel artifacts...
