The 400mm F/4.5 in its dome

This is the homemade 400mm Newtonian on it's mount in the remote dome. It's nearly time to switch ACP Scheduler on and let the observatory do it's thing...

You can see the QSI583wsg with Lodestar autoguider, as well as the heater underneath the secondary mirror, an absolute "must" under the local circumstances . The tube rings are also home made. The carbon tube was made by Klaus Helmerichs.

Between the mount and the upper tube rings you can see the DMK21 finder camera.
