Ngc 4448 12 mag barred spiral 30 mly distant in Coma Berenices. This one does not get a whole lot of attention, and due to it's dull color (and somewhat poor data and poor skies), was difficult to bring out a lot of detail. While looking at the subs, a galaxy that looks to have 'jets' coming out of the nucleus appeared (in the flashing box at about 2 o'clock). A bit of research showed that the object is PGC 40900, and is actually a 310mly distant 'edge on' ringed galaxy. PGC 40900 brightness is listed at magnitude 16. Other smaller galaxies that lie in the same neighborhood with 40900 include PGC 40901(16.9 mag) just to the right of n4448, and PGC 41014 (16.9 mag) to the upper left of the frame.
