Description

I really did not think I had the pleasure of being able to photograph such a marvel in Cassiopeia, because, at the highest, it goes to 12 °.

It was Caroline Herschell who discovered this open cluster in 1783, hence its name "Caroline's Cluster". And because of its resemblance to a rose, it is also called "White Rose Cluster" or even better "Caroline's Rose Cluster".
