Description

The main character of this cluster is the monster NGC 1275 Seyfert galaxy which, being an active feeding super massive black hole, has been emitting red luminous tendrils easily seen in the Hubble data. I tried and tried to capture these red tendrils in my data but the red channel didn't provide much of anything in the way of tendrils. I also tried Ha subs which also turned up nothing. So, still being in the red part of the spectrum, I tried the SII channel and BOOM! There were many tendrils, but different tendrils than in the HLA data! It took 19.5 hours of just SII data to get them! Enjoy!
