Description

Messier 13 or M13 (also designated NGC 6205) is a globular cluster in the constellation Hercules. It has an apparent visual magnitude of 5.8 and its angular diameter is 16.6 arc-minutes. M13 lies at an estimated distance of 25,100 light years.

When you gaze at M13 or other globulars, you are looking at stars that are thought to be 12 to 13 billion years old. That's almost as old as the universe.

I've noticed something clinging onto HD 150998, it appears to be rotating around the variable star. When compared with other images
