Description

Using these cloudy days for some excercise. Inspired by Arno Rottals Aapod I wanted to try a bicolor but didn't really have narrowband data to try this out. So I just followed this tutorial http://www.starrywonders.com/bicolortechniquenew.html by using the excellent Ha data Frank Breslawski sent me and tried to combine it with my own NGC1499 blue channel that I had lying around.

I am actually quite surprised how nice the stars turned out and how detailed the nebula is, will probably continue doing such experiments Only two channels to shoot has a certain charm to it given the rare occasion of a clear night during winter.
