M 27, commonly known as the Dumbbell Nebula, is the first planetary nebula ever discovered, and perhaps the finest and most beautiful in the sky.
This is a (SHO)(RS)GO Combination, yes, luminance is SHO, and R=S, G=G, and B=max(B, O). S looks quite similar to R, and has a more rich fish scale like texture; O has some faint skirt around the nebula body. Combination of SHO correctly represented the lightness of the color image.
