Description

Orion in January 2018

I had a clear sky night with the temperature at 24° F (-4.4° C) so I didn’t spend much time out. After setting up and focusing, I shot some test shots and ending up using 10 seconds at ISO 1600, f/2.8 for the 35 mm Rokinon lens on the Canon Rebel T7i. I shot 7 lights and 6 darks, stacking in Deep Sky Stacker, post processing with Star Tool, and used Canon Digital Photo Profession to finish up the image. I hope you enjoy my wide angle of Orion.
