Description

I revisited the data on Comet C/2015 V2 (Johnson) that I captured in June to clean it up plus shrink down the individual frames so that the original time-lapse file size of 47MB is now only 10K. Now it loads fast. Each of the 56 frames had a 2-minute exposure time and were captured over a time span of 3.8 hours. Instead of following the comet, I pointed my telescope at a specific part of the sky and watched the comet pass through. There are some other artifacts moving in the picture (hot pixels) that probably would not have shown up had I been dithering (live and learn). Maybe next time I'll get the comet's tail.
