Description

This image shows the emission nebula Sh2-132 (also known as LBN 473) .  Included are LBN 471 and Dark nebulae Barnard 369 (LDN 1150), LDN  1154, 1156, 1161, 1163, TGU H621. There are several small open clusters in this image - Berkeley 94 and NGC 7226. Just a little northeast of NGC 7226 in a small planetary nebula PN G101.5-00.6. Sh2-132 is ionized by two Wolf-Rayet stars WR 152 and 153 and some OB stars in several embedded clusters. The former (WR 152) is toward what appears to be an OIII shell in the belly of the "Lion". These stars are estimate to be 15 to 16 thousand light years distant, so Sh2-132 is in this range for distance.  These objects and some of the brighter stars are identified in the annotated image
