Description

Imaged at 75 Gain and 15 Offset.

I generally avoid imaging objects with bright stars due to the microlens diffraction patterns. Seems to be a common issue with the ASI1600 cameras. I have read suggestions that reversing the filters will help alleviate the effect and will have to try that on a bright star soon.

Anyways, I have wanted to image the Pleiades every since I got into astrophotography because I was always fascinated with it as a kid. I was always drawn to the beauty of it in magazine pictures, blue happens to be a favorite color of mine :-)
