Description

My sky finally cleared. However there was a very bright Full Moon washing out the entire sky.

I set everything up before dark. However when I outside to image tonight there was a very

heavy fog all around me. It was a miserable night trying to image with a full Moon,

heavy fog, and moisture in the air. I had trouble deciding what to image because I could

only make out just the brightest constellations. I decided to image M31 the Andromeda

Galaxy. I took two test images at different exposures and iso settings and decided trying this

object with the sky conditions would be a waste of time. I've been wanting to image M48 so

I thought this might be a good time to do it. I found M48 and took a test image. I could see

the cluster but I decided that I could not use the exposure and iso settings that I normally use for

open clusters. With all of that said please enjoy my first image of M48.
