Description

Because of a bright full Moon and heavy fog and moisture in the air I was having trouble

deciding what to image. I decided to look at some open clusters to see if I could see them

in an eye piece. One of the open clusters I decided to look at was M34. I did a select and

slew to M34. When my mount stopped I looked through the eye piece and saw what you

see in this image. I could distinctly see a circle of bright stars. I just recently imaged M34

and this did not look like M34. My "go to" mount missed several targets tonight, one of

them being M31. I assumed it had missed M34 tonight. The last time I imaged M34 the

mount had no trouble finding it. Anyway to make a long story short I decided to image

whatever this is just because I liked the circle asterism.
