My New Mount----iOptron CEM 120EC

My latest rig with the new iOptron CEM120EC. This has been a mount 5 years in the making, The weather has been terrible here in PA to really test this monster out but what little I have had to play with it I am more than impressed. So far I have imaged 10 minute subs unguided that have perfectly round stars. These were taken on my Stellarvue SVA130T with .86 arcsec resolution. The mount has far exceeded my expectations. More than ample through the mount wiring, axel locks and solid clutch gear controls are some of the real nice features. This is the encoder model so PEC is controlled in real time. Load capacity of 115 lbs. And of course the center balance mount puts the load centered over the pier.

So far I give iOptron a 5 star rating on this bad boy!
