An image of challenges: First of all, imaging a beautiful emission nebulous region as this one.... with an Ha blocking, unmodded DSLR. Second, the surrounding starfield is so dense, that bringing up the nebulosity is a really difficult task. Finally, the elevation of this object never rises above 30º from my location - I had to deal with some LP gradients during processing. Overall, though, I was somewhat surprised with this image- far from perfect, far from my best. But a nice capture of this beautiful region.
