Description

The goal of this session was to take an image of the monkey nebula. However, something went wrong with RA and Dec in the image definition and so I actually took a photo of a completely different section of the sky - the Soul nebula ! The Ha images proved to be very nice and I was sure to have focused my scope on monkey, although I failed to be able to really identify the structures on the image. But what a view !

Taken, as usual, on Mirasteilas observatory, 1288 m, Falera, Switzerland.
Only minimal image processing with Pixinsight. Sorry for the edges.

Enjoy.
