Description

12 days Moon, 92 % illuminated.

Very good seeing indeed, that night!

This VISAC has its history.

Some years ago, cleaning the optics, I lost some of the washers that come between the spider and the secondary and control the distance between the two mirrors. This distance, different for each VISAC, is paramount for the performance of the scope, and I simply couldn't recollimate mine and get decent images; I left it alone in the basement. But now, with patience and the vallidated try and error method of adding or substracting washers and getting the focal plane too far inside or outside its right position and starting again, here it is, up and running!
