I had previously imaged M42 and NGC 1973 taking 60x30 sec and 60x5 sec subs on the C14 Edge HD and Hyperstar using the ZWO ASI 1600MC OSC camera. This was to facilitate an HDR process given the high dynamic range of the subject. Whilst this was beneficial The Trapezium Cluster was still over saturated. I added 60 x 0.2 sec subs to properly expose this area and included this third set of images in the HDR process in PixInsight.
The colours achieved in the final image are also an improvement.
