Description

M78 - A reflection nebula near Orion.

This is a very tough target to shoot from my location due to its make up of dark dust and reflection nebulae. Typically bright objects or emission nebulae work well from light polluted location. This target's position puts in the worst light polluted direction for me (East - right into austin's light bubble). I have been taking sub everytime I get a chance.

Just goes on to show to save calibrated data and eventually something can be done with it

The bulk of the data was with my Takahashi Epsilon 130D and 1/3rd of the data is with Takahashi FSQ106ED. This would be very beautiful image when shot from dark site but I am quite happy with the way it turned out given it is from Austin

Equipment (Tak E130D-QSI690CCD / Tak FSQ106ED-QHY814CCD) on AP900.
