Description

Finally after one month of waiting I get colour signal for my Messier 1 photo (Crab Nebula)

A few words about the object - it is a supernova remnant observed in 1054. It is located in the constellation of Taurus and it is quite bright (8,5 mag) but it also has a not so bight surface brightness due to quite big size on sky (angular size).

Central point of nebula is pulsar - neutron star rotating with enourmus speed 30x per second. It has only 10km (!) of diameter but mass equal 0,6 mass of the Sun - so it has great density and enourmus brightness.

I saw that in this object it is very good to use Ha+LRGB composition. I don't Ha filter so I used signal from red filter instead.

It is a scale of 0,41 '' / pix.

Photo without resize - just a little crop to remove ampglow.

Newton 250/1250 on NEQ-6 + ASI 180MM-C + Baader LRGB

Composition R+LRGB

L - 750 x 7s (gain 75%)

RGB-100 x 10 s (gain 75 %) per channel

Two versions - full and crop on nebula
