Description

Today I have a little fun project for you, an ultra low-cost astrophotography technique. The weather is still disappointing, so I'm looking for other ways to observe radiation from the space Finally I remembered of the mysterious cosmic rays. Some years ago I made a successful 8-hour attempt to capture some of them with an EMCCD in complete darkness. Now I wanted to repeat my measurements with a standard CMOS image sensor. And it works, too! There appeared a lot of small cosmics and a few very nice elongated examples.

Enjoy it!
