Description

IC 410 - An emission nebula by Max Wolf in 1892, it is located about 12,000 ly away, in the constellation of Auriga and is around 100 ly across. It got its name because of two gas and dust clouds that resemble tadpoles that extend approximately 10 ly and are made of denser and cooler gas than in the nebula.

The nebula is associated with the open cluster NGC 1893. Which are responsible for sculpting and lighting it.
