Description

A 4 frame mosaic of the North American & Pelican Nebulae captured on August 7th, 2011 at the Antennas site 90 miles west of Phoenix, Arizona.

The exposure consists of 24 exposures x 2 minutes each x 4 frames to complete the mosaic. Images were captured with a QHY8PRO CCD Camera through a Hyperstar equipped Celestron 1100HD telescope operating at f/2.

Capture, Calibration & Stacking was done with Maxim DL 5.15 and all post-processing was done in Photoshop CS5. This is my first attempt at using Photoshop's HDR Toning in an astrophoto.
