Description

NGC 2146 is an interesting little starburst galaxy in Camelopardalis. It has a contorted spiral due to interaction with NGC2146A - unfortunately just outside my field of view.

I have changed back to my QHY9 - I was finding the small pixels of the ASI1600 just weren't working at my long focal length.

L - 24 x 1200s = 8hrs

RGB - 9 x 900s each = 7 hrs

Total 15 hrs

Taken between 7 & 19 Feb.
