Description

It was in July last year when I used my newton last time. Since then I did a lot of widefields, but with growing desire to make some pics with more FL. After an extraordinary long stretch of bad weather there was that one night with a promising weather forecast. It was a bitterly cold night (- 13° C) and a bright moon was up, but I suffering from AP deprivation I decided to go out.

Open clusters are not the most impressive targets and therefore sometimes overlooked. This one had been on my list for quite some time, as there are 2 PN in the FOV. I never went for it, because from my location it is always low above the horizon and in nights with good conditions I did not want to "waste" precious integration time on an open cluster. This was just the night for it and with clattering teeth I collected some light. Integration time could have been more (as always).
