Description

I decided before I went outside that I would try and image Leo's Trio. I set up all my gear before dark because I wanted to begin imaging as soon as it was dark enough to polar align my mount.

I took three test images trying to decide on an iso setting and exposure. On the third test image

Windows 10 decides to take control of my computer to do an update. No matter what I did I couldn't regain control of my computer. It took 2 1/2 hours to do the updating and my computer

restarted at least 5 times. This has happened at least 4 times before when I went to turn off my

computer at the end of an imaging session. Knowing my temper it's a wonder that my computer

didn't wind up thrown against my shed wall. We pay a lot of our hard earned money for these

computers but we don't own them. Microsoft owns them. There has been a lot of controversy

over this. Windows 10 was designed to be a "mandatory" updating operating system. Anyway

enough about that. When I could finally begin imaging at 10:30pm there was moisture everywhere. After every image I had to take a hair dryer and dry the main objective of my imaging scope and the objective of my guiding scope. And if that wasn't enough I also had tracking problems or at least I think it was a tracking problem. With all of that said please forgive

my ranting and enjoy my most recent image of Leo's Trio.
