Description

NGC 4038 and NGC 4039, collectively known as the Antenna Galaxies, are two interacting galaxies approximately 45 to 65 million light years from Earth, and can be seen in the constellation of Corvus.

This image was processed in PixInsight using L-RGB filters. The final image was cropped and re-sampled by 120% for aesthetic reasons.
