Description

Taken from my drive way in San Antonio, TX. Bortle 8 skies. Using the single fork arm mount. Can only seem to take 4 to 5 second subs without star trailing. Lots to learn in astrophotography and post processing.

It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky. M42 is located at a distance of 1,344 ± 20 light years and is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth. From Wiki
