This image is a wide field shot of the Antares Nebula Cloud and the associated nearby objects:
the M4 Globular Cluster, NGC 6144 Globular Cluster, IC 4605 Bright Nebul a, IC4603 Bright Nebula. The image was captured with an Astrotech ED60 f6 with field flattener (360mm fl). This was a first light test for this small FPL-53 Doublet refractor.
The image itself consist of 70 x 40s unguided subs at IS0 1600, the camera being a stock Nikon D5300. Mount was the observatory CGX.
Processing was in DSS and Photoshop CC.

The image does exhibit some noise, but given the camera is n uncooled DSLR, this has to be expected. I will try to reshoot this same area, using the ED60 with my ASI1600MM-C camera, which should produce a much smoother and noise free image. Remember this was a test.
