I got a break in the weather Sunday night, the first in over a month! Still, there was high cloud to battle with and I am sure that all night long there was what I can only describe as a misty murk in the sky, not to mention the massive dome of white light being emitted off Europe's largest milk and dairy factory nearby! I managed to get 34 below average subs at 4 minutes long each, using my 8" reflector and a modified Canon 650D. The weather seems to be improving over the next few days, so I might try again - perhaps with some slightly longer subs too. I am happy with the result all things considered...
