Description

Here is another deep sky object project done on a medium size but really interesting galaxy. NGC 2146 is a barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis which one arm had been bent 45 degrees by a close encounter with a smaller galaxy. I started to acquire some images in late February but poor wheather force me to idle it and when clear skies came back, supernova 2018zd was now part of the show.
