Description

Sh2-64

In Serpens Cauda is a small emission nebula embedded in an overlaying molecular cloud. Note the red to the center right of the image. This molecular cloud covers an otherwise star filled milky way save occasional holes letting the background milky way stars shine through. A complex and very interesting area.

North is to the left
