Description

Captured with Altair Hypercam 183C - 25% waxing moon. 16x SER file 600 frames (RAW 8-bit). Frame size 1824 x 1216. Gain = 30 (out of 50) to get 40 fps. Large overlaps were used for the individual captures.

- All 16 SER files dragged and dropped into Autostakkert!3 with Sharpening selected.

- The *_conv.tif files were stitched using Microsoft ICE.

- Photoshop for colour balance, contrast and gamma.

The sharpeing in AS!3 was good enough as the 196Mb stitched TIFF file was too big for Registax 6.

This was easier than I expected it to be. The final mosaic size is 4354x7697.
