Description

I took a little late to photograph this beautifull nebula, because it had a little passed the meridian which is 80 °. Next season, please God, I'll do it sooner, so I think I'll capture more details.

IC 2177 is a large emission nebula located at 3800 light-years from our system. It was discovered by an amateur astronomer Isaac Roberts. It is a large complex of nebulae accompanied by several small open clusters.

It is nicknamed the Seagull Nebula due to its very expressive form.
